Florida Exam Prep was started by Cruz Greico with one goal, to help contractors pass their exams and get licensed without making the process more confusing than it needs to be. Cruz came from construction and worked building single-family homes. When he decided to get his contractor license, he signed up with a big school but still felt completely lost. He had all the books and material, but didn't really know what to study, what was important, or how to find answers fast enough.

So Cruz stopped trying to study the way everyone else told him to and started figuring out his own way. He focused on one book at a time, learned how to use the books instead of trying to memorize everything, and passed Business & Finance on his first try. After that, he started posting YouTube videos about the exam and how he studied. Those videos started getting thousands of views, and people began messaging him saying they passed after watching them.

At first, Cruz planned on getting his license and starting his own construction company. Instead, he talked to his wife and decided to use the money he had saved to start Florida Exam Prep. The first Business & Finance course took over three months to build, and after students started passing with it, he spent more than six months building the Contract Administration and Project Management courses. Since then, thousands of contractors have gone through Florida Exam Prep, including many who came to us after failing somewhere else or feeling like they were ready to give up.

Today, Florida Exam Prep has become more than just a course. It is a community of contractors all working toward the same goal, passing their exams and getting licensed. We still keep the process simple: one exam at a time, one book at a time, and if you get stuck, ask for help. Cruz's goal is to help 100,000 contractors get licensed in Florida, and hopefully you'll be one of them.
